Sarah Palin returned to Alaska to speak for the first time since accepting the Republican nomination for Vice President. Accounts differ as the exact number of people that showed up for the event but everyone agrees that the turnout was impressive, especially by Alaskan standards with some reports putting the number around 1,400.

Oh my goodness!! At first when I saw “Bush in a skirt,” I wasn’t sure where this post was going. I mean, some people may dig that kind of thing. Alas, I was pleasantly surprised to see that not all Alaskans are enamored with her politics.
Surprising that there are so many anti-Palin people in her own state. Any thoughts on how Alaska trends as a whole(liberal vs. conservative)?
