If this is the position he wants to take, let’s take it a step further. Can I cut out the cost of prostate exams and Viagra? After all, I don’t have a prostate or erectile dysfunction. I don’t have cancer either–so why not let the chemo patients come up with funds themselves? If you didn’t sign up for the “pre-paid” cancer plan, then that is just poor planning on your part.

I am a young, healthy, non-smoking, average weight woman. Why should I have to pay for the elderly, prescription consuming, type-2 diabetes having money pits of our society? Why should I have to pay?! If you are unfortunate enough to get sick, then you must make the hard decision to bankrupt yourself or risk death from non-treatment. A modern day Logan’s Run.

By the way–If you are a man, you are not exempt from maternity care. The only Immaculate Conception that I know of is Jesus. So if there is a pregnant woman out there, chances are a man is partially responsible. He should have the maternity insurance to cover future cost. Since all pregnancies are planned, I am sure this will not be an issue
